Richard Bonington is a large primary and nursery school situated in Arnold - a suburb of the city of Nottingham.

The school was built in the 1950's and is named after a locally born artist (Richard Parkes Bonington) who was an important part of the impressionist school of painting in the late 19th Century.

Our school is focussed on clear guiding principles based around maximising individual potential and making education an enjoyable pastime for young people. We believe that primary education is all about building strong foundations of basic skills combined with the nurturing of positive attitudes to learning.
