Music

Liss has a long musical tradition and we are pleased to be able to offer pupils a number of opportunities to learn a musical instrument. Currently children can learn recorders, brass, woodwind, strings, percussion, keyboards or guitars. With the exception of recorders all instrument tuition is provided by Hampshire Music Service teachers and lessons are chargeable. We also have our own Wind Band who practise every Wednesday and a Rock Band who practise after school on Fridays. They are both led by members of the Music Service team. Our musicians regularly perform in assemblies and at the school concerts held twice a year.
