 | LanguagesOur school has strong links, through our 4-16 Partnership, with Bohunt Secondary School which is a designated Language College. On Friday afternoons our Y6 pupils are taught either French, German or Spanish by staff from Bohunt. The children benefit greatly from these enrichment activities and we hope that many will continue their interest in languages when moving onto secondary school.A recent development has been to establish a number of videoconference links with Bohunt staff who have taught Italian to our Year 5 pupils. We have also held videoconfernces with another Hampshire junior school focusing on French. We continue to maintain e-penpal links with several French primary schools. |
