Cue Cards From here you can upload our literacy cue cards used to support children's writing. Cards can be printed out and given to pupils when they are starting a writing activity. There are currently seven cards available covering: Non-chronological reports, discussion text, fictional narrative prose, myths, legends. More cards are due to be posted on this site soon. We would welcome any feedback about these resources.

ePortfolios We are currently developing an ePortfolio system with our year 5&6 pupils, using a simple website creation package. Children learn to build their own 'structured' websites and in the process create ePortfolios. The ePortfolios are then populated with work samples created over their time at our school. On transfer to Key Stage 3 the ePortfolios can be posted on the web and access given to receiving schools and parents. The advantage of this approach is that the construction of the ePortfolio is part of the taught ICT curriculum and once the ePortfolio is created it can easily be shared over the web.
